- F32
- Excellent web source (Predominantly
related to Large Format
but also provides many links
to conventional and digital
websites). Well worth visiting
as a really good way to
find out about many aspects
of both, including useful
sources of supplies, information,
articles, etc. http://www.f32.net/links.html
- I
highly recommend RAM
Def XTreme (clicking
on this link will enable
you to download the small
exe file to look after your
computer's memory. Save
it to your hard drive. In
my opinion, ESSENTIAL as
can totally prevent any
hang-ups or freezes due
memory problems. This is
a small download, installs
easily and places three
icons on Desktop. I recommend
deleting two - one refers
to TRAY and other to SILENT.
When you run first time,
via remaining icon, gives
opportunity to configure
- very good help files,
easy to set-up. Works automatically
in background. Make sure
you set CUSTOM level to
10 MB as then only frees
up and defrags memory when
down to that level. Shows
in tray as chart or numerical
memory level values.
- Downloading
files can be fraught with
problems like speed, reliability
& resumption if disconnected.
We use the excellent "FlashGet"
Download Manager and
Accelerator - FREE to use!

- We
have used Helen Leason's
excellent booking agency
for a number of years for

try this website: http://www.c-books.co.uk/
Contact person is Colin
Stephens. A good section
on Photography and a claimed
over 100,000 books on all
sorts of topics, including
rare editions.
- One
of the most useful true
freebies available for anyone
to use - makes a long website
URL (address) small - ideal
for ensuring such addresses
do not get word-wrapped,
for adverts and suchlike.
Link made IS tiny and never
expires. Just copy and paste
in your long URL and click
to make it TINY - you can
then copy and paste at will!
Brilliant!
More
links will be added in due
course
